OUR COTTAGES

Currently we offer four exclusive cosy cottages with fireplaces overlooking natural streams and trout dams. The cottages are hidden away and fully fenced ensuring the best get-away for our guests travelling with their dogs. The lovely manicured and large gardens around the cottages provide privacy and is a feast for the eye.

 

Fly-fishers can live the dream enjoying a good fight with our big rainbow and brown trout. 

 

The vast farmland of  TALBOT TROUT FARM with its game trails allows hours of care-free hiking, mountain biking as well as birding.

Our cottages  are powered by solar panels, which provide a stable supply of 220v, this is unfortunately not sufficient to power electrical devices with heating elements, such as hair dryers.

The fully equipped cottages are supplied with quality bedding, towels, coffee, tea and guest amenities as well as a welcoming bundle of firewood. Charcoal and wood suitable for cooking may be purchased from the farm manager.

Televisions with DSTV-decoders are available – if you wish to use them, please bring your own DSTV-card with. 

​

Our area has a very good MTN reception, unfortunately a rather poor signal from Vodacom.

If you bring your pets along, we would like to refer you to our pet policy, which you find under the guest information.

For your convenience, cottages are serviced by housekeeping daily and includes the tidying of kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
